Somatic Healing Sessions
For when your body feels aches, pains, or tension.
This session is for ongoing pain that won’t resolve on its own, such as back pain, neck and shoulder tension, headaches, hip or leg pain, or unexplained aches that linger despite rest or treatment.
Pain isn’t random. It’s an alarm system. It’s the body trying to tell you something.
When emotions, stress, trauma, or unmet needs aren’t listened to, the nervous system holds them as tension. Over time, that tension can become chronic pain - and eventually, illness.
When stress or trauma overwhelms the nervous system, the brain’s threat circuits (especially the amygdala) keep the body in a fight-flight-freeze state - this intelligence was once very important for survival.
This floods muscles and tissues with stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, which can become chronically held as tension and pain when the survival response is never fully completed or discharged.
This session helps you listen to your body before it starts screaming.
What is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing works with the body and nervous system rather than just the mind.
Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” we ask, “What is my body trying to tell me?”
Through gentle awareness, breath, movement, and inner parts work, we allow held stress and emotional energy to complete and release — so the body no longer has to hold it as pain.
