What Is Somatic Healing?

There is no fixing, blaming, or forcing in this work. My work is trauma-informed, and we use inner parts work to understand all the parts of you that are working together to form this experience.

Freeze, avoidance, and depression are not mental problems. Neither are they neurological diagnoses. There is no neurological test that confirms depression. It’s a body-based, nervous system state that affects the mind.

Depression is a body-based state shaped by past experiences, trauma, chronic stress, or overwhelm.

Somatic healing works directly with the nervous system through:

Instead of analysing your story, we listen to what your body has been holding. And since depression lives in the body-mind connection, we use the body to access healing.
