What Is Somatic Healing?
There's no fixing or judging in session with me. My work is deeply compassionate to the parts of you that learned to criticise you in order to protect you.
The inner critic, the anxious attachment, or the body shame - these are not character flaws.
They are nervous system responses shaped by past experiences, relationships, and emotional survival strategies.
Stress, shame, fear of rejection, and cultural conditioning are carried in the body at a nervous system level.
The good news is: if self-worth patterns live in the body, they can be healed in the body.

When your inner critic has been running the show for a long time, your system doesn't need more affirmations or mindset work. It needs safety.
Your nervous system learned intelligent survival strategies; being perfect, being small, being pleasing, being vigilant. These strategies once kept you safe. Now they keep you trapped.
Somatic healing works because it creates a sense of safety in the body, allows the nervous system to settle and reorganise, releases stored shame and emotional tension, and brings you out of fear and back into presence.
What Happens in Session
A session may include a grounding and settling practice to help your system feel safe, gentle somatic awareness and sensation tracking, inner parts psychotherapy, subtle movement, breath or posture work to release held tension, nervous system regulation, and integration and reflection.
