What's actually happening
Your body is doing what it was designed to do when triggered or under chronic stress: it fights, flees, or freezes, especially after trauma. Many bodies stay in the trauma response decades after the traumatic event.
In these sessions, we aim to close the loop.
I don't ask you to calm down, think positive, or change your mindset.
What happens in session
One hour of body-based somatic and inner parts healing work, guided entirely by what your nervous system is ready for.
A session may include grounding, nervous system reset, sensation tracking, gentle movement, guided breath, inner parts healing (IFS), EMDR, nervous system attunement, and exploration of the attachment wounds or stories that are keeping your system stuck in survival mode.
What you can experience
A felt sense of calm that isn't performed
